Every now and then we actually leave the office to spread the Skibz word at shows. Our favourites are the country shows and this week we were at The Gillingham and Shaftesbury show in Dorset. I have to say it’s without doubt our absolute favourite. I think it’s because it’s of a very traditional nature and being a one-day show, you know that everyone put their ‘all’ into that one day to make it great. This year I spotted the old handicraft tent -which is still my favourite, rare breeds of rabbit, chickens and goats. Cattle of all varieties, the most delicious handmade Cornish fudge, Italian hand bags from small sellers so you’re safe in the knowledge that not everyone else will have the same one, fairground rides and scrumpy Cider- who could ask for anything more!
